Applications are invited for the Apprenticeship Training for the session starting from April, 2016 of the following Trades under Apprenticeship Act, 1961 in this Office. The numbers of vacancies are given below against the Trades.
Name of the post
Educational Qualification:
(i) SI. No. 1 - Passed 8,h Class Examination or its equivalent.
(ii) SI. No. 2 to 4 - Passed in Matriculation or its equivalent or 10th Class passed under 10+2 system with Physics and Chemistry as subjects.
Age: The age for the Trades is prescribed above 14 years as on the date of publication. The candidates up to 19 years will be preferred.
Period of Training: The period of Training for SI. No. 1 & 3 is 2 (two) years and for SI. No. 2 & 4 is 3(three) years.
Stipend for the Trades:
(i) During the first year of training : Seventy per cent of minimum wage of Semi-skilled workers notified by the respective State or Union Territory
(ii) During the second year of training : Eighty per cent of minimum wage of Semi-skilled workers notified by the respective State or Union Territory
(iii) During the third year of training : Ninety per cent of minimum wage of Semi-skilled workers notified by the respective State or Union Territory

Application in the fonnat (Annexure-I) neatly typed on a plain paper together with self-attested copy of Certificates in support of Age and Educational qualification should reach the General Manager, Govt, of India Press, Minto Road, New Delhi- 110002 within 21 days from the date of .
