Assistant Professor : PB-3, Rs. 15600-39100 + academic grade pay of Rs. 8000
Associate Professor : PB-4, Rs. 37400-67000 + academic grade pay of Rs. 9000
Additional Professor : PB-4,Rs 37400-67000 + academic grade pay of Rs. 9500
Professor : PB-4, Rs. 37400-67000 + academic grade pay of Rs. 10,500
Essential Qualifications & Experience: A medical qualification included in the first or second schedule or part II of the
third schedule of the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956. Persons possessing qualifications included in part II of the third
schedule of the said act shall also fulfill the conditions specified in sub-section (3) of the section 13 of the said act. In
addition, a postgraduate qualification recognized by the Medical Council of India (MCI) or equivalent thereto, as
indicated in the table below for each post, is required. Diplomate National Board (DNB), shall be treated as equivalent
to the MD, MS / DM, MCh qualifications of the respective broad / super-specialties. Candidate should have completed
total 14, 10, 6 and 3 years of teaching and/or research experience at a recognized teaching institution, after the
prescribed MD/PhD degree for the posts Professor, Additional Professor, Associate Professor and Assistant Professor,
respectively as on last date of submission of application.
