Assistant Librarian : The post of Assistant Librarian was already included into the Recruitment Notification-2016(I)
which was published in Eenadu and Indian Express on 15.01.2016. The Maximum age limit of
40 years is not applicable for this post. Persons having M.Phil are not exempted from
NET/SLET/SET as per UGC guidelines. Those who have already applied in response to the
earlier notification need not apply again. However, they are instructed to submit only Application
Form IV attached to this Notification, duly filled in and signed, without any enclosures. The
general guidelines along with the Application Form for Recruitment Notification-2016(IV) is
applicable to this post.
Assistant Professor in English (1) (SC(W)):
a) M.A., in English with 55% marks from an institution recognised by the UGC/any State
Govt./ Union Govt. of India.
b) Should have cleared the National Eligibility Test (NET) conducted by the UGC, or similar
test accredited to the UGC like SLET/ SET
c) Holders of Ph.D. Degree shall be exempted from NET/ SLET/ SET
Assistant Professor in Sahithya (1) (OC):
a) Acharya/M.A., in Sahitya [Sanskrit] with 55% marks from an institution recognised by the
UGC/any State Govt./ Union Govt. of India
b) Should have cleared the National Eligibility Test (NET) conducted by the UGC, or similar
test accredited to the UGC like SLET/ SET
c) Holders of Ph.D. Degree shall be exempted from NET/ SLET/ SET
Assistant Professor in Ayurveda Dravyaguna (01) (OC(W)):
a) P.G. in Ayurveda-Dravyaguna with 55% marks from an institution recognised by the
UGC/any State Govt./ Union Govt. of India with fair knowledge of Sanskrit.
b) Should have cleared the National Eligibility Test (NET) conducted by the UGC, CSIR or
similar test accredited to the UGC like SLET/ SET
c) Holders of Ph.D. Degree shall be exempted from NET/ SLET/ SET
d) Should have studied Sanskrit as 2nd Language in Degree Course
Assistant Professor in Computer Science (02) (SC(W)-1; OC-1):
a) PG in Computer Science with 55% marks from an institution recognised by the UGC/any
State Govt./ Union Govt. of India. Preference will be given to candidates possessing
knowledge in NLP (Natural Language Processing).
b) Should have cleared the National Eligibility Test (NET) conducted by the UGC, CSIR or
similar test accredited to the UGC like SLET/ SET
c) Holders of Ph.D. Degree shall be exempted from NET/ SLET/ SET
Preferable:Knowledge in Sanskrit / Vedas/ allied subjects
Assistant Professor in Mathematics (02) (BCA(W)-1; OC-1):
a) P.G in Mathematics with 55% marks from an institution recognised by the UGC/any State
Govt./ Union Govt. of India. Preference will be given to candidates with sound knowledge
in Vedic Mathematics.
b) Should have cleared the National Eligibility Test (NET) conducted by the UGC, CSIR or
similar test accredited to the UGC like SLET/ SET
c) Holders of Ph.D. Degree shall be exempted from NET/ SLET/ SET
Preferable: Knowledge in Sanskrit / Vedas/ allied subjects.
