39 Senior Resident Doctors and Junior Resident Doctors for North Eastern Indira Gandhi Regional Institute

North Eastern Indira Gandhi Regional Institute of Health & Medical Sciences recruiting 39 Senior Resident Doctors & Junior Resident Doctors
SENIOR RESIDENT DOCTORS for the following departments and the number of posts as
mentioned against each:

  • Anaesthesiology 4 - (2-OBC, 1-SC, 1-ST)
  • Cardiology 2 – (1OBC, 1UR)
  • Community Medicine 1 - OBC
  • CTVS 3 - (2-OBC, 1-SC)
  • General Medicine 3 - (2- OBC. 1-SC)
  • General Surgery 2 – (1-OBC, 1-SC)
  • Hospital Administration 1 - UR
  • Neurology 2 - (1-OBC, 1-SC)
  • Orthopaedics 3 - (2-OBC, 1-SC)
  • Paediatrics 2 - (1-OBC, 1-SC)
  • Physiology 1 - OBC
  • Psychiatry 1 - OBC
  • Radiodiagnosis 3 - (2-OBC, 1-SC)
  • Radiotherapy 1 - UR
  • Urology 2 - (1-UR, 1-SC)


Essential Qualification - Senior Resident Doctors
Postgraduate degree or diploma in respective subject recognized by MCI after obtaining a medical qualification included in the Schedule - I & II of the 3rd Schedule of Indian Medical Council Act 1956 (persons possessing qualifications included in the part – II of the 3rd schedule should also fulfill the conditions specified in section 13 (B) of the Act).

Scale of Pay: Rs.18, 750/- + GP - Rs.6600/- + NPA plus other allowances as admissible under
the Central Govt. Rules in identical posts.

JUNIOR RESIDENT DOCTOR: 8 (Eight) - (2-UR, 1-OBC, 3-SC & 2-ST) for the various departments

Educational qualification for the posts of Junior Resident Doctors: 
Medical qualification included in the Schedule - I & II of the 3rd Schedule of the Indian Medical Council Act 1956 (persons possessing qualifications included in the part – II of the 3 rd schedule should also fulfill the conditions specified in section 13 (B) of the Act). 

Scale of Pay: Rs.15, 600/- + GP - Rs.5, 400/- + NPA plus other allowances as admissible under rules.
