Scientist
Ph.D. submitted (Math/Phy) from a Recognized University/institute.
Experience in mathematical modelling and analysis of multiformat data with SCI publications
Pay Band : Rs. 15600-39100 (PB-3) + GP Rs. 6600/- 

Sr. Scientist
PhD. (Maths/Phy) from a Recognized University/institute with 2 yrs experience.Proven experience in modelling and analysis of environmental/climate processes SCI publications and knowledge of computer programming
Pay Band : Rs. 15600-39100 (PB-3) + GP Rs.7600/-

These posts carry usual allowances i.e. Dearness Allowance (DA), House Rent Allowance (HRA), Transport Allowance (TA) etc. as admissible to the central government employees and as made applicable to CSIR. Council employees are also eligible for accommodation of their entitled type as per CSIR allotment rules depending on availability in which case HRA will not be admissible.
