Applications from the eligible candidates are invited for 5 (Five) number posts of Work Munshi (2 Nos. for General
2 Nos. OBC and 1 No. S.C.) on temporary basis in the pay scale of Rs.5910-20200+2400 grade pay plus usual
allowances. The eligibility criteria for filling up the said posts of Work Munshi (Public Health) is detailed as
under.
Educational Qualification
a) 10+2 pass from a recognized Board/University or equivalent.
b) 2 Years experience in the trade.
Or
1. ITI certificate in the trade of Surveyor in the case of Civil and Plumber in the case of sanitary trade from any Govt. Institute or its equivalent. The selection for the post of Work Munshi shall only be basis on the objective type written test consisting of 100 % only.
Pay scale of Rs. 5910 - Rs. 20200 + Rs. 2400
Age as on 01.01.2016.
a) 18 to 25 years for General category
b) 18 to 28 years for O.B.C category
c) 18 to 30 years for S.C category
Candidates already in Govt.service/semi Govt. service /Corporation/Boards shall apply through proper channel. The relaxation in age for candidates already in government service shall be decided as per latest instruction of the Chandigarh Administration. The envelope should be inscribed “APPLICATION FOR THE POST OF WORK MUNSHI (PUBLIC HEALTH)”.
