Scientific Officer (C) – Reserved For Other Backward Class
Qualification : B.E./B.Tech. in Computer Science/Computer Engineering/Electronics and Communications/Electrical Engineering with minimum 60% marks.
OR
Post-graduate in Computer Science, information Technology, Physics, Mathematics, Statistics with minimum 60% marks.
Experience : Minimum 2 years experience in system administration.
Essential Skills :

1. Linux System administration
2. Knowledge of computer architecture, storage and computer networking
3. Proficiency in shell scripts, C++, python
4. Maintenance of software and hardware infrastructure in large data-centres
5. Knowledge of IT security
6. Ability to learn on the job
7. Strong interpersonal skill and the ability to function in team environment

Desirable Skills :

1. Experience in managing IT infrastructure in large computing clusters and storage    farms
2. Well-versed in problem-solving and trouble shooting
3. Knowledge of database management systems
4. Proficiency in programming languages, like PERL, JAVA

Engineer TraineeAppointment will be initially for a period of one year. Extension by another one year is possible for candidate with outstanding performance. Qualification : B.E/ B.Tech in Computer Science or Information Technology from a recognized university. Desirable : i) B.E/ B.Tech in Computer Science or Information Technology from a recognized university with 60% marks or more. (ii) Up to one year experience in web application development in PHP and RDBMS in a Linux environment, Core Java programming. (iii) Linux system administration and /or android based application development.
