Applications are invited from Indian Citizens for appointment against following posts of Professors, Associate Professors, and Assistant Professors in the University with a pay scale of Pay Scale : Rs. 37400 - 67000 AGP Rs. 10000/-
Professor : Physics (UR-1), Mathematics (UR-1), Genetics & Plant Breeding (UR-1), History (UR-1), Political Science (UR-1), Statistics (UR-1), Psychology (UR-1), Sociology (UR-1).

Associate Professor : Botany (UR-2, OBC-1), Physics (UR-3), Mathematics (UR-1), Genetics & Plant Breeding (UR-1), Education (UR-1), Political Science (UR-1), Zoology (UR-2), English (UR-2), Psychology (UR-2), History (UR-1).

Assistant Professor : Genetics & Plant Breeding (OBC-1), Sociology (UR-1).

General Eligibility Criteria

Good academic record as defined by the State Government with at least 55% marks (or an equivalent grade in a point scale wherever grading system is followed) at the Master’s Degree level in a relevant subject from an Indian University, or an equivalent degree from an accredited foreign university.

Besides fulfilling the above qualifications, the candidate must have cleared the National Eligibility Test (NET) conducted by the UGC, CSIR or similar test accredited by the UGC like SLET/SET.

Notwithstanding anything contained in sub-clauses (1.1.1) and (1.1.2) to this Clause, candidates, who are, or have been awarded a Ph. D. Degree in accordance with the University Grants Commission (Minimum Standards and Procedure for Award of Ph.D. Degree) Regulations, 2009, shall be exempted from the requirement of the minimum eligibility condition of NET/SLET/SET for recruitment and appointment of Assistant Professor or equivalent positions in Universities/Colleges/Institutions 

Application fee : The prescribed application fee (Rs. 1000/- for UR, OBC & Rs. 750/- for SC/ST candidates) is to be paid through a Demand Draft drawn in favour of “Finance Controller, Chaudhary Charan Singh University, Meerut” and payable at Meerut.
