Ministry of Water Resources River Development and Ganga Rejuvenation inviting the post of 16 Scientist ‘B’ (Civil Engineering) with a salary of 39100/-
Essential Qualification
(i) Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering from a recognized University or Institute and
(ii) Possessing three year’s experience in the relevant branch of engineering.
Note-1 . Qualifications are relaxable at the discretion of Union Public Service Commission, for reasons to be recorded in writing, in case of candidates otherwise well qualified.
Note-2 . The qualifications regarding experience is/are relaxable at the discretion of the Union Public Service Commission, for reasons to be recorded in writing, in case of candidates belonging to Scheduled Caste or Scheduled Tribe, if at any stage of selection, the Union Public Service Commission is of the opinion that sufficient number of candidates from these communities possessing the requisite experience are not likely to be available to fill up the posts reserved for them.
Pay Scale : Rs 15600-39100 plus Rs 5400/- Grade Pay (PB-3) (Total Emoluments excluding T.A. and HRA at the time of initial appointment will be Rs. 43,470/-p.m. approximately.)
Duty(ies)
(i) Basic and applied research in the field of geotechnical engineering, concrete technology etc.
(ii) Conduct both field and laboratory tests and undertake investigations of projects.
(iii) Preparing project reports, technical reports, draft standards etc.
(iv) All technical, administrative and accounting works as assigned by immediate officer.
