Applications are invited from eligible candidates for appointment to the following posts in Raja Ramanna Centre for Advanced
Technology (RRCAT), Indore.
Name of Post : Stipendiary Trainee Category-I (Physics)
Stipend First Year : 9300 per month, Second Year - 10500 per month plus one time book allowance of 1,500/-.
Qualification required : Minimum 60% marks in B.Sc. (Physics as principal and Mathematics /Chemistry/
Statistics/Electronics/ Computer Science as subsidiary subjects).
Name of Post : Stipendiary Trainee Category-I (Electronics & Instrumentation)
Stipend First Year : 9300 per month, Second Year - 10500 per month plus one time book allowance of 1,500/-.
Qualification required : Diploma / Licentiate in Electronics/ Instrumentation Engineering (Three years after SSC or Two
years after HSC) with minimum 60% marks.
Name of Post : Technician/B (Air Conditioning)
Pay Scale PB-1 : 5200-20200 with Grade Pay 2000/- plus other allowances as admissible
Qualification required : HSC or SSC passed with minimum 60% marks with Science and maths plus trade certificate of one
year duration in Air conditioning.
Name of Post : Technician/B (Plumber)
Pay Scale PB-1 : 5200-20200 with Grade Pay 2000/- plus other allowances as admissible.
Qualification required : HSC or SSC passed with minimum 60% marks with Science and Maths plus trade certificate of one
year duration in Plumbing trade.
Age limit as on last date of receipt of applications - Minimum 18 years and Maximum 34.
Salary : Upon successful completion of training, the Stipendiary Trainees
(Category-I) will be considered for absorption as Scientific Assistant/C (PB-2 : 9300-34800 with Grade Pay 4600/-)
depending on their performance during the period of training and interview to be held at the end of the training.
